This policy explains what personal data Solaren collects, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it. Solaren is a trading name of Topic Deco LLC. For any question about your data, write to contact@sola-ren.com.
What we collect
When you place an order: your name, billing and delivery address, email address, phone number, the items ordered and the amount paid.
When you create an account: your email address, your password in encrypted form, and the addresses you choose to save.
When you pay: your card details are entered in our payment provider’s secure fields and go straight to them. We never see or store your card number.
When you browse: technical data such as your IP address, your browser type and the pages you visit, used to keep the site working and secure.
When you contact us: the content of your message and the address you wrote from.
Why we use it
- To process, ship and follow up on your order.
- To give you access to your account and your order history.
- To answer your questions and handle returns.
- To protect the site against fraud and abuse.
- To meet our accounting and legal obligations.
We do not sell your data, and we do not send marketing emails unless you have asked us to.
Who we share it with
We share only what is strictly necessary, with:
- Stripe, our payment provider, to take and secure your payment.
- Our carriers, to deliver your parcel and give you a tracking number.
- Our hosting provider, which stores the site and its database.
These providers act on our instructions and may not use your data for their own purposes.
How long we keep it
Order and invoice data is kept for the period required by accounting rules. Account data is kept for as long as your account is open. Messages sent through the contact form are kept for up to three years. Technical logs are kept for a few months at most.
Cookies
The site uses cookies that are needed for it to work: keeping your cart, keeping you signed in, and securing payment. We do not use advertising cookies. You can block cookies in your browser settings, but the cart and checkout will then stop working.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, and you can object to a particular use of it. Write to contact@sola-ren.com and we will answer within one month. If you are in the European Union and you are not satisfied with our answer, you may lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.
Security
The site runs entirely over an encrypted connection. Access to the administration area is restricted and protected against repeated login attempts. Passwords are stored hashed, never in clear text.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is published on this page with its date. The version that applies to your order is the one in force on the day you placed it.
